Argyll and Bute Council is offering someone the unique opportunity to monitor shellfish on the island of Colonsay. The post requires flexible working as the sampling times are dictated by the tides and 4 hours per week has been identified for this work which will continue to November 2009. Thereafter the hours may be reduced.
Qualifications
Higher in a science subject
Experience
Work involving working to standards
Knowledge
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer skills. Report writing.
Personal Qualities
Pragmatic and self motivated. Well organised and capable of working to detailed procedures and working with a minimum of supervision.
Other Requirements
Valid driving licence
Salary Details
£14829.00 - £15789.00 (pro rata) (4 hours per week)
