Ramblers walking from Glen Coe.

E-mail Print PDF

On Sunday, June 28, Helensburgh and West Dunbartonshire Ramblers are once again walking from Glen Coe.

Lying in the midst of some of the most dramatic Scottish mountains, Meall Lighiche (Doctor’s Hill) is approached along a narrow valley off the NW end of Glen Coe.  The Allt na Muidhe is followed to the col from where the ascent to Creag Bhan and the summit ridge is made. Return is by the outward route.

On Land Rover track, moorland and steep grassy slopes with some outcropping rock, this 11km walk has a total ascent of 730m, a maximum height of 772m and will take 6hrs.

Sorry, no dogs allowed.
